Our guide will pick you up at the airport and drive you to the interior of Portugal. Welcome to Alentejo! This first day will be reserved for some relaxation after your arrival to Mora. Day 2 - From Mora to Paiva

On day one, you will start biking at the town center, head down some narrow streets and then arrive to an old train station. Do not forget to visit it and to take a second to appreciate the slow and quiet life of the countryside of Portugal. As you follow the train tracks to the sweet water aquarium, you will have an opportunity to discover the most fantastic scenery of rivers and lakes! Then, you will be making your way to Paiva and the landscape will most certainly not disappoint. Paiva is an old town with a traditional architectural style and atmosphere.

Day 3 - From Paiva to Arraiolos

A little more of our culture is waiting to be embraced today! After cycling through local farms, you will visit another old train station and arrive at Arraiolos, an old Portuguese town that holds castles and many typical houses. It is famous for its embroidered wool rugs and carpets which have been made since the middle ages. Arraiolos also has some gastronomical delights that will make your tummy very happy! After a nice meal, recharge your batteries at a beautiful historical convent, where you will be spending the night.

Day 4 - From Arraiolos to Évora

The journey will take you calmly to Évora, an Unesco World Heritage Site! You will be amazed with the beauty and history of this old town. The outerwalls, the roman temple, the cathedral, it is all right around the corner, waiting for your visit. You will stay here for the next three nights, so take your time and each day explore a bit of this heritage and capital of the region.

Day 5 - Évora Loop to Dolmans

This day will be the most challenging but simultaneously the most spectacular one. In these sights there are traces of the presence of manin on the plains of Alentejo since ancient times. Thus, making this a very important area for the scholars of today that are studying this specificage of mankind. After having visited some of these places, you will be returning to the old historical center. Riding in the quiet countryside of Évora is all about admiring the view, so make sure you take some time to contemplate your surroundings on this wonderful day! You will also have the chance to visiting a cork-hotel before the end of the day.

Day 6 - Évora Loop to Aqueduct |
LEVEL: EASY DISTANCE: 25 KM ELEVATION GAIN: 200 M

This day will be dedicated to see how water was transported to the cities in the 1500's. You will be following a spectacular ancient aqueduct and admiring its water channeling system. As the day consists of following the aqueduct, the ride will be a circular one. Nice little trails alongside the aqueduct will be an absolute joy for everyone. This can also be a chance of going for some more caches. As you return to Évora, it is time to do your last sightseeing, as you will be departing tomorrow.

Day 7 - Back to Lisbon - Transfer |
This is it! It went by so fast. Today it is time to gather all your memories, luggage, belongings and say goodbye to Portugal. It has been a great adventure and we would love for you to come and discover more of Portugal with us!
Lisbon is the capital of Portugal and the centre of a multifaceted region that appeals to different tastes and senses. In a city that has been receiving many and different cultures from far and wide distances over time, today you can still feel the village breath on every historical neighbourhood. You can walk through the grid of streets in Baixa Pombalina that opens to the Praça do Comércio and, following the river, get to know some of the most beautiful places in the city: the monumental area of Belém with World Heritage monuments, medieval neighbourhoods, and also areas with more recent or contemporary leisure facilities, such as the Parque das Nações and the Docks.
