Meeting place: Cascais train station (pick at a hotel in Cascais is also available).
Circular: start and finish in Cascais.

This small adventure starts along the coast of Cascais, until the Guincho beach; continues amidst a fantastic landscape between Serra de Sintra and the Atlantic Ocean; and it ends in Cabo da Roca. Here all you have to do is enjoy the unique view and taste delicious food in a typical restaurant.
Historical records indicate that there was a Fort on Cabo da Roca, in the 17th century, that played an important part in guarding the entrance in Lisbon's harbour, forming a defensive line along the coast. Today we can find its traces, and the big Lighthouse that still plays an important role for navigation. Don't forget to get your certificate, so you can show all your friends that you have been at the westernmost point of Europe!
Our advice is for you to stop in Azóia on your way back to Cascais! Here you can find some really cool restaurants with really good food!
