How to get to Porto Côvo:
From Lisbon Airport:
Take the metro at Airport Metro Station to Sete Rios Metro Station; at Sete Rios Metro Station there is a connection to the BUS.

Upon arrival the participants will receive maps and support material.
Porto Côvo is a picturesque fishermen's village that remains a lot like it was back in the day! Near by there are some of the prettiest beaches of the area. Enjoy the food in its plaza!

Day 2 - Walking from Porto Côvo to Vila Nova de Milfontes |
This is the beaches section, where you will walk along the vast sand dunes area of Ilha do Pessegueiro, Aivados and Malhão beaches and discover small deserted coves that will surprise you. It is a tiring day, given its extension and the constant sandy terrain.

Day 3 - Walking from Vila Nova de Milfontes to Almograve |
This is a day to purify your soul thanks to the overwhelming views over Vila Nova de Milfontes and the Mira river that meets the ocean here. It is a short and accessible hiking day so that you may enjoy the area to its fullest extent.

Day 4 - Walking from Almograve to Zambujeira do Mar |
Small fishing harbours, reddish sand dunes, the scent of pine tree forests and the sight - seen nowhere else in the world - of storks nesting on the cliffs, make this walk a true balm for your senses.

Day 5 - Walking from Zambujeira do Mar to Odeceixe |
You will be passing the beaches of Alteirinhos, Carvalhal, Machados and Amália on the way to Azenha do Mar, where you will find a natural fishing harbour. To top it all enjoy one of the most outstanding views in the entire territory: Odeceixe beach seen from the majestic Ponta em Branco.

Day 6 - Walking from Odeceixe to Aljezur |
Today you will be walking along Mira's watering channel, fed by the waters of Santa Clara's dam. For miles you will see around you the mountains to the east and the ocean to the west. You will have a choice between two complementary circuits that will take you to the coastal cliffs and allow you to get to know Odeceixe and Amoreira beaches.

Day 7 - Walking from Aljezur to Arrifana |
Throughout this day you will cross scented valleys and small farms. When reaching Arrifana, make sure you visit the Arrifana beach, one of the most famous in the south of our country.

Day 8 - Walking from Arrifana to Carrapateira |
Walk through our peaceful lowlands along the coast. This a great day for pictures given that it passes by a few beaches. Finish your day at the Bordeira beach for a good swim.

Day 9 - Walking from Pedralva to Cabo São Vicente and to Sagres |
Get ready as this day will be tiring - but believe us, totally worth it! Enjoy the nature while you walk through our valleys until you reach the Bispo Village, where you can take a breather. After that, you will follow the coast line and reach the beautiful São Vicente Cape, finishing this adventure on the amazing city of Sagres - a beautiful fishermen town that certainly won't disappoint you!

Day 10 - Transfer to Lisbon |
Transfer to Lisbon (taxi + Train or Bus).
Lisbon is the capital of Portugal and the centre of a multifaceted region that appeals to different tastes and senses. In a city that has been receiving many and different cultures from far and wide distances over time, today you can still feel the village breath on every historical neighbourhood. You can walk through the grid of streets in Baixa Pombalina that opens to the Praça do Comércio and, following the river, get to know some of the most beautiful places in the city: the monumental area of Belém with World Heritage monuments, medieval neighbourhoods, and also areas with more recent or contemporary leisure facilities, such as the Parque das Nações and the Docks.
